From 29 August to 1 September, before the TUI Holly award ceremony, Elke C. Janssen of TUI Hotel Consulting and Quality Management visited about 20 hotels, mainly in and around Side, including many of the 31 Turkish TUI Holly 2106 winners. One of the main topics in all discussions was of course the special challenges facing our Turkish hotel partners at the moment.
From 2 to 7 September on Mallorca Sabine Bartsch of TUI Hotel Consulting and Quality Management met around 30 partners, including many hotel chains with hotels also in the other Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands or the Caribbean. Despite the high booking figures, the satisfaction of TUI guests in Mallorca in summer 2016 was further improved.
From 18 to 24 September in Gran Canaria Sabine Bartsch of TUI Hotel Consulting and Quality Management conducted Service Excellence and Quality Leadership training sessions at Hotel Cordial Mogan Playa. Afterwards, until 28 September, meetings with 15 partners took place to discuss the end of the season and the coming season. With an average TUI satisfaction score of 8.91 in summer 2016 La Gomera continues to occupy the top spot in the Canary Islands.
Elke C. Janssen of TUI Hotel Consulting and Quality Management visited 25 hotel partners in Crete from 10 to 14 October. She was accompanied by hotel contractor Maria Gouma, Destination Services Quality Manager Eva Warsitz and Service Delivery Manager Crete & Cyclades Alessandra D'Angelo. It was possible to view completed renovation work at some hotels and confirm how they already have had a positive effect on guest satisfaction. On average the general condition of the rooms in Crete was rated as not very good. On the other hand TUI guests are very satisfied with the excellent service.
